Summary: First Melody what a wonderful host.She showed kindness to my daughters and I .She gave us a beautiful tour and the back story of the Dome.This property quickly became our home.I will forever remember the memories of our home away from home.I will 100% be visiting again. And the cleanliness of the Dome was unbelievable. Everything was just right.I can go on and on about the Dome .The property is beautiful .Melody has everything you can think of and more .The beds were so comfortable.Melody is gracious. And the details show how she decorated her property with Love and for others to enjoy.We visited on june 5 to the 11th.And it hard to leave.I wish I can rate more then 5 stars.Beacuse I would give her a 100 stars if I could.And last but not least the Hot tub was wonderful .Thank you Melody for all you do.You are truly appreciated.

Summary: This place is great! Very clean, nice and neat. One of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. The history of the place is interesting. The hot tub is amazing. We'll definitely keep this on our list of places to stay when working in the area.

Summary: Melody was AMAZING! She met us at the bottom of the hill and followed her up to the house where she gave us the tour, history, fun stories and pointed out where everything was located. We have stayed at a good amount of rentals but this one truly had everything you could need and way more than most would expect. We loved that is had everything that we needed, plenty of room and amenities. This property is close to anything you need including grocery stores, gas stations, local attractions and downtown. We really enjoyed the relaxing ambiance and the privacy that the Dome provided. While it was close to town it was far enough away for a peaceful and relaxing get-a-way!The host really goes the extra mile with quality toilet paper, extra towels, kitchen supplies, coffee station perks, easy open hot tub, firewood, and even baked us some fresh brownies!! Just an above and beyond experience in an uniquely designed home with lovely scenery. We had a blast!

Summary: The property was unique which was the reason for selection. It was close enough to Chillicothe for food and entertainment. ( Definitely take the free trolley). Unfortunately it rained most of the weekend so we could only enjoy the outdoors for a couple of hours. The stairs are unique but if someone in your party has trouble with stairs, consider them for the main floor. Plenty of room for every one.

Summary: I cannot say enough how more than pleased we were with our stay at DOME on the Hill! Melody is not just a host. She is a kind caring soul with a heart of gold. We were looking for a unique structure to stay in and enjoy. Dome on the Hill was that and more. It is peaceful and secluded, surrounded by trees. It was surprisingly spacious, well maintained, and designed. Hearing the history was both fascinating and a joy. Melody has created a serene, soothing, welcoming atmosphere where we felt right at home. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, walks around the property, reading under the tree, air hockey wars, gaming, races in the yard, grilling out, and meals on the deck in the fresh air as a family. The rooms are not cramped and the beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. We had no other destination than to stay at the DOME and it was more than enough. We have already recommended it to friends and family who've put it on their must go lists. If you're on the fence, there is no question, it's in the bag, just go, relax, enjoy and feel at peace and at home. A huge THANK YOU to Melody and her family for all they do to make DOME on the Hill so incredible.

Summary: Such a beautiful home andhomeowner! The home is unique and fun. The sprawling acreage is so peaceful. And this is probably the cleanest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. We were in the Hocking Hills area to celebrate my daughter’s 17th birthday… She’s a big fan of being outdoors. So my husband, me, our 20-year-old son and our 17-year-old daughter rented this home so that we could hike around the Hocking Hills. Melody, the homeowner, is unbelievably kind and super quick with communications. I am a bit of a clean freak, so it was great to see that the home was impeccably clean. Everything we needed was available for us, including firewood to start our outdoor fire where we roasted hotdogs and marshmallows. I would stay here again.

Summary: This property is amazing. The story of the construction, the familial connection...it all gives the property a special quality. Such attention to detail, comfort, peace, and convenience all lend an air of special elegance. Our host was sweet and attentive, but let us ha e our space. We enjoyed every moment in this gracious place.

Summary: After an exhausting December, my husband and I along with our friends spent a few days to refresh and re-energize for the New Year. We loved our time at Dome on the Hill. We played games, built puzzles, hot tubbed, explored the area, and had wonderful home cooked meals in an amazing kitchen. The house was completely stocked with all that we needed to relax and have an enjoyable time together. We are all history buffs, so a walk at the Hopewell Cultural Center was fascinating. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We are thinking of coming back during the Perseid Meteor Shower in August !!
